Most recently, she spent three years as a window treatment and hardware specialist for Fabricut, a premier global textile brand. In this role, she helped top interior designers turn their complex visions into beautiful, highly functional window treatments for their clients. Now, Chrissy is bringing that exact same elite, designer-level expertise directly to the dining room tables of homeowners across Southeast Grand Rapids.
Coming Home to Michigan
After spending two incredible decades living and raising her family in Texas, it finally felt like the right time to come back home to Michigan. Having worked closely with several Made in the Shade owners over the past few years, Chrissy saw the incredible success of the mobile showroom model. When she isn’t helping clients transform their living spaces, family remains at the absolute center of Chrissy’s world. She and her husband, Mark, are thrilled to be back home in the Midwest after two decades in Texas. You can usually find them exploring the vibrant live music scene around Grand Rapids or traveling to visit their children. Their son, JT, lives and works in Austin, Texas, and their daughter, Kate, is studying nursing at the University of Oklahoma. When she gets a quiet moment at home, Chrissy’s lifelong passion for sewing and getting lost in a good book are her favorite ways to unwind.
